Lds church handbook of instructions book 2

I figured I'd better learn what was in this for my calling and to be more aware in general. I found lots of things I didn't know! Did you know I've done that 4. French horns aren't totally exiled from sacrament meeting it just said most brass are inappropriate, but it's up to the bishop , 5. King James bible should be the only one we use in English other languages have other approved ones even though other translations are easier to read.

There's a whole chapter on single members. They need a lot of love and care in the church. You can call ward choir secretaries, librarians, or section leaders.

If you have a ward that big! Holy cow! We don't even have a choir director because we're just trying to get 2 deep in primary covered! The church logo is copyrighted and shouldn't be used on tshirts and other things without permission. Getting autographs from general authorities is inappropriate. Relief Society presidencies need to visit everyone on the roll once a year, and meet with the Elder's Quorum presidency quarterly. I'm super glad I read it. It's probably something I should review every couple years or so to make sure I'm following procedure and check for updates.

Second read: Nov So the handbook has changed sooo much since the last time I read it I decided to read it cover to cover again. And would you believe it?! What I need to do is read the updates right when I'm emailed about them, instead of waiting forever and needing to read it cover to cover again. They have their own chapters, which I think was very much needed. Sep 09, Benjamin Allred rated it it was amazing. I have read this a few times and try to review it each time I approach a different calling.
